Two facials, one price, two different ideas

The RF Face & Neck Facial and the LED Skin Tightening Facial sit side by side on our menu. Both run 60 minutes. Both cost $250. Both are commonly chosen by people who want their skin to look a little firmer and more rested. That is where the similarities end. One uses gentle warmth. The other uses light. Because the price is the same, the choice comes down to your skin, your goals, and what kind of hour you enjoy.

This guide walks through how each facial works, who tends to pick which, how the two can be alternated across a series, and what neither one can do. We would rather you choose with clear eyes than book on a guess.

How the RF Face & Neck Facial works

Radio-frequency energy is delivered through a smooth handpiece that we keep moving over the face and neck. As it passes, it creates controlled warmth in the deeper layers of the skin while the surface stays comfortable. Most clients describe it as a steady, pleasant heat, a little like a warm stone gliding along the jawline.

In cosmetic settings, radio-frequency warmth is commonly used in routines aimed at the look of firmness, especially along the jaw, the cheeks and the front of the neck. The idea is that gentle heat in the deeper skin may encourage the skin's own supporting structure to renew over time. The research behind that idea is still developing. Many clients notice a plumper, smoother look right after a session, and results vary from person to person.

The session finishes with a 24K gold face and neck mask infused with black caviar. It is a cosmetic mask, chosen for how it feels after warmth and for the glow many clients see when it comes off. It is not the part aimed at the look of firmness. It is the part that makes the hour feel like a spa visit. For the fuller picture of this service, see our non-surgical face lift page.

How the LED Skin Tightening Facial works

This facial uses two devices. The Perfectio X delivers red and infrared light. The Sapphire X delivers blue light at 415 nanometers. Both are FDA-cleared Class II devices. That clearance covers the devices themselves, not any particular result on your skin. We mention it because clients ask, and because it is worth knowing what the phrase does and does not mean.

LED light uses no heat-based energy, so there is no building warmth the way there is with RF. Most clients feel, at most, a gentle warmth and a soft glow against closed eyes. Red and infrared light are commonly used in cosmetic routines aimed at the look of fine lines, tone and overall brightness. Blue light at 415 nanometers is commonly used in routines for blemish-prone skin. We choose the mix based on what your skin is doing that day.

The rest of the hour is a true facial. Cleansing, gentle exfoliation, the light phase, and a finish suited to your skin. Many clients notice a fresher, more even look when they leave. How much the look of firmness changes over a series varies, and we say so plainly. See our LED facial page for the session flow in detail.

Who tends to pick the RF facial

Clients who are focused on the neck and the jawline often lean toward RF. The handpiece works that area directly, and the warmth makes the session feel purposeful. People who enjoy heat, the way some people love a warm bath, usually enjoy RF.

RF also suits clients who want the hour to feel indulgent. The gold and caviar mask is a small luxury, and it pairs well with the warmth that came before it. Some clients book RF a week or two before an event hoping for a smoother, more rested look, though results vary and any change may be temporary.

RF is not the right first step for everyone. If you have a skin condition such as rosacea or eczema, or any condition that reacts to heat, a dermatologist or physician is the right place to start. We can work alongside their guidance.

Who tends to pick the LED facial

Clients whose skin dislikes building heat often prefer LED. The light phase is gentle and quiet, with no building heat. People who flush easily, or who simply want a gentler session, tend to choose it.

LED is also the usual pick for blemish-prone skin, because the blue 415 nanometer light is part of the protocol. And it is the natural choice for anyone who wants to build a series, since our facial packages are built around the LED facial. The Bronze package pairs two LED facials with a daily product for $550, which works out to $275 per facial. Silver and Gold add sessions and products at a similar per-facial cost.

LED suits people who like knowing exactly what the device is and what its clearance covers. If that kind of precision matters to you, LED tends to feel like the clearer choice.

Combining them across a series

You do not have to choose one forever. Many clients alternate. A typical starting point is four to six sessions spaced one to two weeks apart, with RF and LED taking turns. The warmth of one session and the light of the next approach the same goal from two directions. Each is listed as its own 60-minute session, and spacing them out lets you judge each one fairly.

A simple way to start is to book one of each, two weeks apart, and take a photo in the same light before each visit. By the second session you will usually have a feel for which one your skin responds to and which one you enjoy more. From there, a series can lean toward one or stay balanced. Results vary, and we would rather adjust the plan than promise a number.

RF sessions are listed individually at $250. If a mixed series appeals to you, we can map it out when you visit. Affirm financing is available for clients who prefer to spread the cost.

What neither facial can do

Neither facial moves tissue the way surgery does. Neither changes bone structure, removes loose skin, or replaces volume that has been lost. If you have deep folds or significant laxity, a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist will give you a more complete picture of your options. We are happy to be one part of a larger plan.

Neither facial is a one-time fix. Whatever change you notice may be temporary, and keeping it is usually a matter of returning on a rhythm that fits your life. These are cosmetic services, not medical care. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, have cold urticaria, have an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking either session.

How to decide

If you only read one paragraph, read this one. Pick RF if your attention is on the neck and jawline, you enjoy warmth, and you want the session to feel like a treat. Pick LED if your skin runs sensitive or blemish-prone, you prefer a gentler, quieter hour, or you plan to build a series through a package. If you still cannot decide, book one of each and let your skin cast the vote.

We are inside Hulen Mall in Fort Worth, with free parking and evening hours six days a week. Bring your questions. Choosing between these two facials is a conversation we are glad to have with you.

Questions about this guide

Can I get the RF facial and the LED facial in the same visit?

Each is listed as its own 60-minute session. Booking them a week or two apart is the simpler way to compare them, and we can talk through sequencing when you book.

Does the RF facial hurt?

Most clients describe a steady, comfortable warmth rather than pain. The handpiece stays in motion, and we adjust if anything feels too warm. Tell us right away and we will ease back.

Which one shows results faster?

Many clients notice a plumper, brighter look right after either facial. That early change may be temporary. A longer-lasting look of firmness is usually a series question rather than a single-visit one, and results vary from person to person.

Treatments at Vearitea Wellness Spa are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking.
