An LED light therapy facial uses specific wavelengths of light to support the look of your skin. At Vearitea Wellness Spa your skin is cleansed and exfoliated first, then you rest under red and near-infrared light, blue light, or a combination chosen for your skin. On our menu it is the LED Skin Tightening Facial: 60 minutes, warm, quiet and non-invasive.
Red and near-infrared light are commonly used for a smoother, firmer and more radiant look, so they suit dull or tired skin and early fine lines. Blue light at 415 nm is used for blemish-prone skin. Because the session is gentle and has no downtime, it also suits sensitive skin and busy schedules. Results build gradually over a series and vary from person to person.
We use in-spa devices rather than a home mask. The Perfectio X (red and infrared light) and the Sapphire X (blue light at 415 nm) are FDA-cleared Class II devices, and our FDA-cleared Elevare devices work in the 640–840 nm red and infrared range. A trained skincare specialist sets up every session at our Hulen Mall spa.
Red and near-infrared light are widely used to support a smoother, brighter-looking complexion over a series.
Blue light at 415 nm is used for blemish-prone skin and pairs well with a deep cleanse.
Warm, quiet light with no needles and no peeling. Many clients find it the calmest hour of their week.
Perfectio X and Sapphire X are FDA-cleared Class II devices; the clearance covers the device, not a particular cosmetic result.
LED light therapy uses light-emitting diodes to deliver narrow, specific bands of light to the skin. Different wavelengths reach different depths: blue light at 415 nm stays near the surface, while red and near-infrared light, in the 640–840 nm range on our Elevare devices, travel deeper. The light is absorbed by skin cells, and there is no UV involved, so it is not a tanning treatment.
Research into how skin responds to light is ongoing. Red and near-infrared light are commonly used for a smoother, firmer and more radiant look, and blue light is commonly used for blemish-prone skin. Changes are gradual, which is why a series is recommended, and they fade without maintenance. FDA clearance applies to the device and is not a promise of a particular result; LED facials are cosmetic and are not intended to diagnose or treat any disease.
Come with clean skin if you can, and tell us about epilepsy, light sensitivity or any medication that makes your skin sensitive to light. Your specialist cleanses and exfoliates your skin, talks through your goals, and chooses red and near-infrared light, blue light or a combination for your session.
You lie back with eye protection while the light works. It feels gently warm, and there is nothing to do but rest, so many clients doze off. The light phase is part of a 60-minute appointment that includes cleansing and exfoliation, and your specialist stays close by and checks in with you throughout.
There is no downtime and no peeling. Skin may look slightly flushed for a short while, and you can apply makeup and go straight back to your day. Use sunscreen, keep your routine simple, and plan your next facial for one to two weeks later; a series gives the best chance of a visible change.

| Silver facial package | 3 LED light facials + 2 daily products (day cream, peeling gel, toner or foaming cleanser) | $800 |

Red and near-infrared light are commonly used for a smoother, firmer and more radiant look, so they suit dull, tired or maturing skin. Blue light at 415 nm is used for blemish-prone skin. Many clients receive a combination, and your specialist chooses the mix after looking at your skin. If breakouts are your main concern, our acne facial pairs a deep cleanse with a blue-light session.
At-home LED masks are convenient and designed for frequent short sessions. An in-spa facial pairs professional devices with a cleanse and exfoliation, so the light reaches freshly prepared skin, and a specialist adjusts the plan as your skin changes. Many clients use both: a series of in-spa facials, with a home device in between.
Please tell us before you book if any of these apply to you:
Treatments at Vearitea Wellness Spa are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking.
Our LED facials use Perfectio X (red and infrared) and Sapphire X (blue, 415 nm), both FDA-cleared Class II devices, and Elevare (red and infrared, 640–840 nm), also FDA-cleared. Clearance covers the device, not a particular result.
Our cryotherapy applicator is chilled to −6 °C and used in brief, controlled passes: contact cooling, not a nitrogen chamber.
Every treatment is non-invasive, with no needles and no downtime. We are open until 8 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, plus Sunday afternoons, with free mall parking.

Research is ongoing, and results vary. Red and near-infrared light are commonly used for a smoother, firmer and more radiant look, and blue light is commonly used for blemish-prone skin. Any change tends to build gradually over a series of sessions, not after one visit, and the effect needs maintenance. LED facials are cosmetic and do not replace care from a dermatologist.
For many people the downsides are small: results are gradual, they need a series and maintenance, and a few people notice brief redness or warmth. LED is not recommended with epilepsy, light sensitivity or medication that makes skin sensitive to light, and the eyes should always be protected, which is why we provide eye protection for every session.
We cannot speak for Mayo Clinic, so we recommend reading their guidance directly. In general, medical sources describe red light therapy as an area of active research: some studies suggest benefits for the look of skin, but results vary and more research is needed. That is why we describe our LED facials as cosmetic, with gradual and temporary results.
LED light therapy is generally well tolerated when it is used correctly. Our devices emit no UV light, every session is run by a trained skincare specialist, and eye protection is worn throughout. We screen for epilepsy, light sensitivity, photosensitizing medication and pregnancy first. If you have a medical condition, check with your physician before booking.
No. The light feels gently warm, and there are no needles, no numbing and no peeling. You rest with your eyes protected throughout, and many clients find it one of the most relaxing treatments on our menu. You can return to your normal routine, including makeup, straight afterwards.
A typical starting point is a series of four to six sessions, often one to two weeks apart, then maintenance about once a month; your specialist will tailor the plan. Our facial packages of 2, 3 or 4 LED facials make a series easier to plan. Results are gradual and vary from person to person.
Yes. LED pairs well with our other facials. Many clients alternate it with the RF Face & Neck Facial for a firmer-looking face, or book it after a deep cleanse when breakouts are the concern. We will plan the order and spacing of treatments with you, and we will not combine anything that does not suit your skin.
Yes. The Perfectio X, which uses red and infrared light, and the Sapphire X, which uses blue light at 415 nm, are FDA-cleared Class II devices, and our Elevare red and infrared devices are FDA-cleared as well. FDA clearance relates to the device itself. It is not a promise of a particular cosmetic result, and results vary from person to person.
