The short answer: $360 for 30 minutes on a full-body bed

A session on our red light therapy bed costs $360 and lasts 30 minutes. The bed is the Revolutionary Pro, a full-body LED bed with more than 5,000 red LEDs, and it is the full-body red light service on our menu at Hulen Mall in Fort Worth. That is the single-session price, listed alongside every other treatment on our pricing page.

Search for the cost of red light therapy locally and you will find a wide spread of numbers, most of them describing very different things. A ten-minute stand in front of a gym panel, a mask you wear on the couch and 30 minutes inside a full-body bed are three different products. This guide explains what our price includes, how multi-session pricing works, and how to compare on equal terms before you decide where your money goes.

What the $360 includes

The price covers the full 30 minutes of light with the bed to yourself. A bed covers far more of you at once than a panel facing one side. There is no product to buy before you arrive and nothing to apply afterwards. You do not need to pair it with another service to book it. The treatment overview is on our red light therapy page.

A few practical things are part of every session. We go over a short intake form the first time you come, and we check for anything that would make the light a poor fit that day. We ask every client to keep their eyes covered for the whole 30 minutes because the light is bright. Ask when you book what we provide and what to bring. Parking in the mall lot is free.

What the price does not include is a promise. Red light is a cosmetic service. Many clients notice a brighter, more even look after a series of sessions, and some notice little change. Results vary, and they build gradually rather than appearing after a single visit. We would rather you budget with that in mind than expect a dramatic change from one appointment.

Multi-session pricing is quoted in the spa

Because the look builds with consistency, many clients who like the bed come back for a series. A typical starting point is two or three sessions a week for the first month, then about once a week. At the single-session price, eight sessions in a month is $2,880. That is real money, which is why we quote multi-session pricing in person rather than publishing one number that may not fit your plan.

When you visit, tell us how often you expect to come and for how long. We will price the series for that plan, and you can decide with the number in front of you. Affirm financing is available if you would rather spread the cost over time. There is no need to decide on a series at your first visit. Try one session, see how it feels, and then talk to us about a plan.

If your interest is mainly your face, it is worth knowing that our LED Skin Tightening Facial is $250 for 60 minutes and focuses the light where you want it; see our LED facial page. Some clients find the facial is the better use of the same budget. Others want the full-body session. Your specialist can help you weigh the two.

How to compare: time, coverage and LEDs

Price alone tells you very little. The useful comparison is what a dollar buys in three things: minutes of light, how much of the body is covered, and how many LEDs are delivering it. Our session works out to $12 a minute for a bed that covers you from head to toe with more than 5,000 LEDs. When you look at another option, work out the same figures. A lower headline price for a session that is a third as long and covers a fraction of the body is not cheaper per minute of light on skin.

Two more questions are worth asking anywhere you go. Is the device yours alone for the session, or shared with the next person in line? And is the time you pay for all light time, or does it include setup and waiting? Thirty minutes on our bed is 30 minutes under the light. Once the minutes, coverage and LED count match, the price comparison is fair. Until then, the lower number is buying less light, not the same session for less.

Gym and tanning salon panels

Many gyms and tanning salons now offer red light, usually as a standing panel or a booth with a short session. The per-session cost can look very low, especially when it is folded into a monthly plan. That can be a reasonable way to try red light if you already belong and the panel is included.

The trade-offs are coverage and time. A panel lights the side of the body facing it, so a full session means turning around part way through, and the LED count is usually far smaller than a bed. Session length is often capped. Some salons also market red bulbs inside a tanning unit, which is a different thing from an LED bed, so ask whether the unit emits UV. Ours does not. We do not think gym panels are a bad option. We think they are a smaller one, and the price should reflect that.

At-home devices: when they make sense

At-home red light ranges from small handheld wands and face masks to wall-sized panels, and prices range from less than a single session with us to more than a full series. The strongest argument for a home device is consistency. If a mask on the couch every evening is something you will actually do, that regular habit may suit you better than a spa session you keep postponing. Results vary with any device, and consumer units are generally less powerful, so sessions tend to be longer and the look tends to build more slowly.

The argument for the bed is coverage, output and time. Thirty minutes covers the whole body in one session, which a handheld cannot do and a mask does not try to do. Some people also want a dedicated half hour away from home, with nothing to charge, clean or store. Some clients use both: a home mask between visits and the bed for the full-body session. If you already own a device, bring your questions. We will tell you honestly whether the bed adds anything for your goal.

Deciding whether it is worth it for you

Start with your goal. If you want a gradual, brighter look across the whole body and you can keep a regular schedule for a few months, the bed may be worth the cost, and multi-session pricing makes that schedule more realistic. If you want a one-time glow before an event, a facial may be the better use of the money. If you are unsure, one $360 session is the simplest way to find out how it feels before you plan anything larger.

Our services are cosmetic, not medical care. If you are pregnant or have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection or recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking any treatment with us. The same applies if you take a medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, or if you are wondering whether red light fits alongside a condition your physician is managing. We will ask about this on your intake form, and we may suggest a different treatment or another day.

We are inside Hulen Mall with free parking. Book online or call (214) 447-7748 and ask for a multi-session quote when you come in.

Questions about this guide

Do you offer multi-session pricing on the red light bed?

We price the bed per session at $360 and quote multi-session pricing in the spa based on how often you plan to come. Ask at the desk or when you book, and we will put a number on the plan you have in mind. Affirm financing is available.

Is a shorter session at a gym the same thing?

Not quite. A gym panel is usually a shorter session facing a single panel with far fewer LEDs, and it lights one side of the body at a time. Our bed gives you 30 minutes with more than 5,000 red LEDs across the body. Compare minutes, coverage and LED count before comparing price.

Can I try one session before committing to a series?

Yes. Many first-time clients book a single session. If you like how it feels, we will quote a series around the schedule you can keep. Results build gradually and vary from person to person, so one session is a feel for the experience rather than a measure of the result.

Treatments at Vearitea Wellness Spa are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking.
