A 30-minute session on our full-body red light bed is $360. Here is what it feels like, what the research explores, how often people come and who should wait.

Red Light · $360 · 30 min
Our red light therapy bed is the Revolutionary Pro, a full-body LED bed with more than 5,000 red LEDs. A session is 30 minutes and costs $360 at our spa inside Hulen Mall in Fort Worth. You lie back, the light comes on, and you rest. There is no UV, nothing to wash off and no downtime.
Most people who book it want one of two things: a smoother, more radiant look over a series of sessions, or a calm half hour in a busy week. What the bed cannot do matters as much as what it can, so this guide covers the session itself, what red light is commonly used for, where the research stands, how often people come and who should wait. The treatment overview is on our red light therapy page.
You check in, and we go over a short intake form. Tell us about any medication that makes your skin sensitive to light. If you can, arrive without makeup or heavy lotion, since product on the skin sits between you and the light. In the room, you undress only as far as you are comfortable. More exposed skin simply means more skin receives the light, so many clients wear underwear or a swimsuit.
Before the light comes on, you put on eye protection. The light is bright, and we ask every client to keep their eyes covered for the full 30 minutes. Ask us about eye protection when you book so you know what we provide and what to bring. Then you lie back. The bed covers you from head to toe, so the light reaches the whole length of your body at once rather than one area at a time.
The light itself is deep red and gently warm. It is not the heat of a tanning lamp. Many clients describe it as resting under a warm lamp, and most simply close their eyes and let the half hour pass. You can end the session early at any time. When it finishes, there is nothing to rinse off. Skin may look slightly flushed or feel warm for a short while, and then you carry on with your day.
In cosmetic settings, red light is widely used for a smoother, more radiant look. Many clients notice that their skin looks brighter and more even after a series of sessions. The effect is gradual. It builds with regular visits rather than appearing after one, and results vary from person to person.
The bed is a full-body session with no facial steps. If your goal is focused skincare for the face, our LED Skin Tightening Facial ($250, 60 minutes) uses the Perfectio X and Sapphire X LED devices on the face; see our LED light therapy page. Some clients use both: the facial for the face, and the bed as a regular head-to-toe glow session. Your specialist can help you decide which fits your goal, or whether a mix makes sense.
Researchers have studied red light for decades, often under the name photobiomodulation. Much of the laboratory work looks at how red light interacts with skin cells. Cosmetic studies have looked at skin tone, texture and the look of fine lines. Some report modest improvements. Others find little difference. Devices, doses, wavelengths and session lengths vary widely between studies, so a result from one device does not automatically apply to another.
That is the honest state of the evidence. Red light is generally well tolerated and widely used, and the cosmetic findings are encouraging but not settled. Researchers have also explored red light in areas unrelated to skin appearance. We do not offer the bed for any of those uses, and we do not make claims about them. Our sessions are cosmetic and for general wellness. If you are weighing red light against a concern your physician is managing, speak with them first.
Because the look builds with consistency, a typical starting point is two or three sessions a week for the first month, then once a week to maintain. Some clients come less often and treat the bed as an occasional reset. Others pair it with a facial visit every few weeks. There is no single right schedule. What matters more than any one session is a pace you can actually keep.
We plan the schedule together at your first visit, based on your goals and your calendar. We are open seven days a week with evening hours Monday through Saturday, which makes a weekday session after work realistic for many clients.
Red light is gentle for most people, but it is not for everyone. We ask pregnant clients to wait and to check with their physician first. We do not recommend the bed if you have epilepsy or light sensitivity, or if you take medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, including some antibiotics and some prescription skin products. If you are not sure whether a medication falls into that group, ask your pharmacist or physician before booking.
Our services are cosmetic, not medical care. If you are pregnant or have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection or recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking any treatment with us. If anything on your intake form gives us pause, we will suggest a different treatment or ask you to come back another time. We would rather lose a booking than put you under the light when it is not a good fit.
For most people, the downsides are small and practical. The light is bright, so your eyes need protection for the full session, and some people feel slightly flushed from the warmth for a short while afterwards. The bigger downside is the commitment. Red light is a series, not a single fix, and the look tends to fade if you stop coming. A session also takes a real half hour out of your day.
Cost is the other honest downside. At $360 a session, a regular schedule adds up, and the results are cosmetic and gradual rather than dramatic. If you want a single treatment before an event, a facial may be the better fit; results vary. If you want a calm, regular glow session you can keep up over months, the bed may be the better fit. Either way, we would rather you know that before you book than after.
At our spa, a 30-minute session on the Revolutionary Pro bed is $360. That is the menu price whether you book one session or your tenth, and it is listed with every other treatment on our pricing page. Affirm financing is available if you would rather spread the cost of a series over time.
Prices elsewhere vary a great deal, and the numbers are not always describing the same thing. A short session in front of a small panel at a gym or a tanning salon is a different product from 30 minutes in a full-body bed with more than 5,000 LEDs. When you compare, line up the session length, how much of the body the device covers, how many LEDs it uses, and whether eye protection and a quiet private room are included. Once those match, compare the price. If they do not, you are comparing two different sessions.
We are inside Hulen Mall at 4800 S Hulen St, Suite 1110, with free mall parking. Book online, call (214) 447-7748 or email [email protected]. If you are not sure whether the bed or an LED facial fits your goal, call or email us and we will recommend one.
No. It is an LED red light bed with no UV, so it does not tan the skin. You feel gentle warmth rather than the heat of a tanning lamp. Keep your eyes protected for the full 30 minutes, and ask us about eye protection when you book.
Yes. Since there is nothing to wash off and no downtime, many clients add a 30-minute session after a facial. Let us know when you book and we will plan the order so the visit does not feel rushed.
It varies. Many clients notice a slightly brighter look after a few weeks of regular sessions, and some notice little change. The look is gradual and cosmetic, and it is maintained with ongoing sessions rather than fixed after one visit.
Treatments at Vearitea Wellness Spa are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking.
If a quiet half hour under the red light bed sounds like the right fit, you are welcome to book a session and we will plan a schedule that suits your goals.
