Start with the goal, not the menu

Choosing a facial is easier when you begin with the result you want rather than the list of treatments. Most people who walk into our spa at Hulen Mall describe one of a handful of goals. They look tired or puffy. They want a firmer look along the jaw. They are dealing with breakouts. Their skin feels dull or dry. Or they simply want to try a facial and see how it feels. Each of those points toward a different treatment, and this guide walks through them one at a time.

A quick note before we start. Our facials are cosmetic services, not medical care. They may temporarily improve how skin looks, and results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, have cold urticaria, have an active skin infection or have had recent surgery, please talk to your physician before booking.

Puffy, tired or a little red: the Cryotherapy Facial

If the first thing you see in the mirror is puffiness under the eyes or a tired, slightly flushed look, the Cryotherapy Facial ($325, 60 minutes) is the usual place to begin. After a cleanse and gentle exfoliation, we pass an applicator chilled to −6 °C over the face in brief, controlled passes. The applicator is cold. Your skin is not brought to that temperature. The cooling may temporarily reduce the look of puffiness and redness, and many clients describe a tighter, fresher feeling right after.

This is also the facial we suggest before an event, because the effect shows up quickly and tends to fade over a few days. If redness is persistent or you suspect rosacea, a dermatologist is the right first step. We are happy to work alongside that advice, but we cannot replace it. You can read more on our cryotherapy facial page.

A firmer, more lifted look: RF or LED

When the goal is a firmer look along the jawline, cheeks or neck, two of our 60-minute facials are built for it. The RF Face & Neck Facial ($250) uses gentle radio-frequency warmth, followed by a 24K gold and black caviar mask. The LED Skin Tightening Facial ($250) uses the Perfectio X, which delivers red and infrared light. Perfectio X and Sapphire X are FDA-cleared Class II devices. That clearance covers the devices themselves, not a particular result.

Which one is right for you often comes down to preference. Some clients prefer the warm, massage-like feel of RF. Others prefer the quiet, hands-off calm of a light session. Both are gradual. A typical starting point is a series of four to six sessions, one to two weeks apart, and many clients notice a smoother, more rested look building over that time. If you are torn between the two, say so when you book and we can suggest one based on your skin and your schedule.

Blemish-prone skin: blue light

If breakouts are the concern, the facial to ask about is the LED session with the Sapphire X blue light, which emits light at 415 nanometers. Blue light is widely used in cosmetic skincare for skin that tends to break out, and many clients notice a calmer, clearer look after a series. We pair it with a thorough cleanse and gentle exfoliation. Results vary, and a single session is a starting point rather than a finish line.

One important boundary. If you have cystic acne, deep painful bumps or scarring that worries you, see a dermatologist first. A cosmetic facial cannot take the place of that care. It can be a pleasant addition once a physician has set the plan. Our LED facial page explains the difference between red and blue light in more detail.

Dull or dry: the Express Hydrating Facial

Skin that looks flat, feels tight or shows makeup settling into fine dry lines usually does not need a technology-led session. It needs a careful cleanse, gentle exfoliation and a good dose of hydration. The Express Hydrating Facial ($125, 30 minutes) is built for exactly that. It fits into a lunch break or a shopping trip, and many clients leave with skin that looks plumper and more even for a few days.

Because it is short and gentle, this is also the facial many clients return to between longer sessions, as a way to hold the look. Fall and winter in Fort Worth can leave skin drier than people expect, and a monthly hydrating session is a simple way to keep up with it.

Not sure? Start with the Express facial

If you have read this far and still are not certain, that is fine. Our suggestion is to book the Express Hydrating Facial. It is the lowest-cost way to meet us, see the space and let a skincare specialist look at your skin in person. Thirty minutes is enough for us to notice what you may not, such as dehydration that reads as dullness or congestion that reads as texture.

At the end of that session we can tell you which of the longer facials, if any, makes sense next. There is no pressure to move up. Some clients find the Express facial is all they want and keep it as a monthly routine.

How we help you choose at your first visit

Every first visit begins with a short conversation. We ask what you want to change, what your skin does on a normal day, what products you use and whether anything on your skin is sensitive or currently irritated. We also ask the health questions above, because some technologies are not appropriate for everyone.

Then we look. Under good light, skin tells a clear story. Fine dryness, uneven tone, puffiness and congestion each look different up close, and that is usually where the choice becomes obvious. If two facials would both suit you, we will explain the difference and let you decide. If we think a dermatologist should see something first, we will say so plainly.

You can also review the full menu on our facials page before you arrive, so the conversation starts from a shared place.

Pricing, packages and a few practical notes

The facials in this guide range from $125 for the Express Hydrating Facial to $325 for the Cryotherapy Facial, with the RF and LED sessions at $250 each. If you decide on a series of LED facials, our facial packages bring the per-session cost down. Bronze includes two LED facials and one daily product for $550, Silver three facials and two products for $800, and Gold four facials and three products for $1,100. Affirm financing is available.

A few policies worth knowing. We ask for 24 hours of notice to cancel or move an appointment, and arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean rescheduling. Services are not refundable. Parking at Hulen Mall is free, and we are open seven days a week.

Questions about this guide

Can I combine two facials in one visit?

Ask when you book. Some pairings make sense and some do not, and a skincare specialist can tell you which on the day. More is not always better, and results vary from person to person.

How soon will I see a difference?

It depends on the facial. The Cryotherapy Facial and the Express Hydrating Facial may show a visible change the same day that fades over a few days. The RF and LED facials are gradual, and many clients notice a difference over a series of four to six sessions. Results vary.

What if I have sensitive skin?

Tell us before we begin. We can adjust pressure, products and session length, and the Express Hydrating Facial is usually the gentlest place to start. If your skin is currently irritated or infected, or you have a diagnosed condition such as eczema or rosacea, see a physician first.

Treatments at Vearitea Wellness Spa are cosmetic and wellness services, not medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Results vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cold urticaria, an active skin infection, or have had recent surgery, talk to your physician before booking.
