A session-by-session walk through a cavitation series, from the warm gel and faint buzzing of visit one to the weekly rhythm and maintenance that follow.

A cavitation series is a sequence, not a single event. Knowing what each stage looks like makes the whole thing easier. This guide walks through the first appointment, the weekly rhythm that follows, what to do between visits, and what maintenance can look like once a series is complete. If you want the basics of how the device works, see our body contouring page. Here we focus on the experience itself.
A few simple habits before your first session help. Drink water the day before. Eat a light meal a couple of hours ahead rather than arriving on a full or empty stomach. Wear clothing that is easy to move aside around the area you want treated, since gel is involved. Skip lotion on that area the day of your visit. None of this is complicated, and none of it is a rule we enforce. It simply makes the session smoother.
Your first visit begins with a short conversation. We ask which area you have in mind, what you hope to see, and whether anything in your health history should give us pause. It helps to take your own photo at home before the first session, in the same light each week, so you have a starting point. Then you settle onto the table and we apply a warm, clear conductive gel to the area. The gel lets the handpiece glide and carries the ultrasonic energy into the tissue beneath the skin.
The handpiece moves in slow, overlapping passes. Many clients describe gentle warmth under the applicator and a faint buzzing. Some notice a soft ringing in the ears during the passes, which some people experience with this kind of device and which typically fades once the handpiece lifts. There are no needles and nothing pierces the skin. If anything feels too warm, you say so and we adjust. A full session on one area takes 60 minutes. The 30-minute express body session suits a smaller area.
Afterward, we wipe away the gel and you can dress and leave. The area may look slightly pink or feel warm for a short while. Many clients go straight back to their day, and there is usually little or no downtime to plan around.
Results from cavitation tend to build over a series. One session is a beginning, not a result. Many clients book once a week on the same area, and a series of six to eight sessions is a typical starting point. Spacing matters. We space sessions about a week apart. Packing them closer is not something we recommend, and long gaps may slow progress, though we adjust for travel and schedules.
By the second and third visit, the room and the routine feel familiar. The gel, the hum, the slow passes. Sessions tend to feel shorter once the newness wears off. Tell us at each visit what you have noticed since the last one, so the session builds on the last rather than starting over. If you want to work on two areas, ask us how we schedule them; the Exclusive package is built for two areas. See our packages page for the current numbers.
Some clients pair cavitation with body cryotherapy in the same visit. The combination session runs 60 minutes, and bundles are priced per session on the same packages page. Whether that pairing makes sense for you depends on the area and your goals, and we are honest about it during the consultation.
What you do between visits matters as much as what happens on the table. Water is the first habit. We suggest drinking steadily on the day of your session and for the two days that follow. Many clients simply feel better when they keep up with it, and it is the easiest part of the routine to get right.
Movement is the second. A brisk walk of twenty to thirty minutes after your session is the simplest thing we recommend, and a few more walks across the week help as well. You do not need a gym or a program. Steady, ordinary activity is enough. Try to keep session days light on alcohol and heavy meals.
Sleep, eating habits, and stress sit underneath all of this. A cavitation series works with your routine, not instead of it. In our experience, clients who keep their habits steady through a series tend to be happier with how an area looks at the end. Results vary.
This is the question we hear most. The honest answer is that it depends, and that photos tell the story better than the mirror. Some clients notice the area feeling smoother, or looking a little softer in outline, after two or three sessions. For many, a visible change in the photos may appear around the midpoint of a series. For others it takes the full series, and some see less change than they hoped. Results vary.
Compare your photos at the same point each time: same light, same angle, same time of day. Day-to-day swelling, salt, and sleep can shift how an area looks, so a single snapshot can mislead. The series view is the fair one. If change is not showing by the midpoint, tell us, and we can talk about whether to continue, change the plan, or stop.
What cavitation may do is temporarily reduce the look of fullness in a treated area and leave the skin feeling smoother. What it cannot do is change your weight, replace exercise, or hold an area in place if habits shift. Results vary, and we would rather undersell than oversell.
At the end of a series, compare your most recent photo to the first one. From there, maintenance is a choice, not a requirement. A common approach is an express body session every four to six weeks to help maintain the look. Others return for a short refresher series after a few months. Some are happy to stop and revisit later.
Maintenance is where the habits from the series do the work. Water, walking, steady eating. The session is a nudge, and the routine is what keeps it. If you have been through a series with us before, bring your own photos and tell us what worked, so a maintenance visit picks up where you left off rather than starting from zero.
Cavitation body contouring is a cosmetic service, not medical care. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or another implanted device, have cold urticaria, have an active skin infection in the area, or have had recent surgery, please talk to your physician before booking. The same is true for any ongoing health condition you are managing. A quick conversation with your doctor is the right first step, and we are glad to wait.
If you have questions about whether a series suits you, call us or stop by the front desk inside Hulen Mall. We would rather answer honestly before you book than after.
A full session on one area is 60 minutes. The express body session is 30 minutes and suits a smaller area or a maintenance visit.
Many clients describe gentle warmth and a faint buzzing. It should not hurt. If anything feels too warm, tell us and we adjust the passes.
Six to eight weekly sessions on one area is a typical starting point. Results vary, and if you are not seeing change by the midpoint, tell us so we can talk through whether to continue.
